I consider myself to be fortunate to have the patience and capacity to continue working on a single work which has taken me almost ten years to produce. The impact of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, ignited a creative energy in me to produce this epic project.

Although it still remains a sensitive issue among New Yorkers, I have approached this work methodically and expressively throughout the years. The work is an intimate setting that includes a breathtaking, large‐scale palindrome painting. The message I wish to convey is that with pride, courage, and hope, we can overcome evil. This painting is at the forefront of my career and represents everything to me.
