"TUESDAY MOURN"

My heart goes out to the thousands that died
on Tuesday morning as my countrymen cried
The dawns early light had just passed away
as our American families began a new day
It was September 11th of 2001
and this Tuesday morning had just only begun
While some traveled in cars, others on trains
Two hundred sixty six boarded 4 significant planes
But none knew the fate that this special day held
for none knew that those planes destination would fail
And while here in the Homeland we all deal with strife
we've had a few lash out with disregard for human life
But none like these few
these cowards with no face
They wanted only to hurt our American race
they did'nt care if we were colored or white
and showed no mercy for husbands nor wives
They ordered those four airplanes be taken by force
only to crash them without any remorse
and while two crashed on Wall Street
one in D.C.
the fourth one miracously fell in our countryside trees
The lives down on Wall street that fell with those towers
the lives that perished among the trees and the flowers
the lives at the Pentagon that ended too soon
and the lives of all those Fireman
who rushed in to their doom
The lives of all those people that fell to their death
will forever be remembered
and may they have Eternal Rest
but for the cowards who did this, us Americans want you to know
that you're terrorist act has only caused us to grow
For now we all Stand United
and we're soaring as Eagles
but we're gonna hunt you and find you and make you feel feeble
Americas' gonna prosper as shes' done in the past
but the pain that you caused us will forever last
and for those out there hurting, surrounded by pain
there's a God up in Heaven and he does know your name
he can heal you and mend you and help with your loss
He can help you grow stronger for he is the boss
As we all recover and new days are born
we shall never forget that dreadful "TUESDAY MOURN"
