Twin Towers stood mighty and high
Kings of the earth in the September sky
The symbol of wealth and riches untold
More precious than silver and gold
When there awoke a demon nightmare
Fire and smoke and death in the air
The Mighty Ones shook, shuddered, and fell
Stunned by this fury from hell
How many died, none could tell

Ashes and fumes and flying debris
Filling the airwaves and on the TV
Everyone saw it
