    Statement of Work

I have created two paintings a week after Sept 11. They are entitled "010911 III" and "010911 IV". The original paintings measured 30 inches by 30 inches. The paintings were exhibited at several galleries in Rochester town for a year. They are now on display at Rochester Institute of Technology since 2001.

What I have been inspired about the paintings is people got emotional responses from seeing the paintings although the paintings don't have description to explain what the paintings means. The reviewers know what the paintings tell a story without asking me for explanation. I decided to employ that experience to create eight large-than-life paintings measured 10.4 feet by 10.4 feet each (WTC measured 208 feet by 208 feet, according to Artifice Inc.) The eight paintings will be made of canvas, woods, sand, acrylic, papers, and steels.

    The WTC Stories in Numbers

    Painting 1: " 1966 I "
    Painting 2: " 1972 II "
    Painting 3: " 730404 III "
    Painting 4: " 28 VI "
    Painting 5: " 750213 V "
    Painting 6: " 930226 VI "
    Painting 7: " 010911 VII "
    Painting 8: " 010911 VIII "

Two of the eight paintings, 1 and 2 will describe a story of how the WTC twin towers built from 1966 to 1972. Painting 3 is the day of launching. Painting 4 is a story of its service in 28 years. Painting 5 and 6 are stories of how they survived from two mass destructions. The other two will show a result after Sept 11, 2001. Each painting will has a big glass bowl standing on floor that represents a symbolization of what the paintings tell.

Now I am looking for funds and grants to complete eight paintings for Sept 11 Memorial Museum.

Your interests in being part of my contribution and investing the project will bring visitors new inspiration, new education and new remembrance about the history of WTC from a ground to the buidlings to the disappearance.

Part of the reason why I want to do this project because some stories, before Sept 11, about the WTC have been unknown.
