    Statement of Work

The original painting was acrylic medium on 24" x 36" canvas board. The scene captures a sight well known to the artist from the Brooklyn Promenade looking west to the Manhattan akyline. To the far left can be seen a beacon of light from the Statue of Liberty and extending north, silhouetted by the moon, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center as it once stood. The lights of the city are dazzling and reflect in the East River to give a dramatic feeling to a panorama never to be forgotten. Recently this scene was the format for the 2002 holiday card offered by the Bethlehem Art Gallery. The inside printed message was simply, "Peace on Earth..."
