    Statement of Work

I’m Barbara Barron, a retired photo-journalist. I lived a mile away from the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

Being an early riser, every morning I’d look out my window and stare lovingly at the tall silver buildings with their gleaming gold edges, and promise myself to, one day to photo them, during an exceptionally sunny dawn. To my regret I never did photograph those majestic symbols of New York from that view.

For over a year the stench of the burning debris haunted my senses, bringing tears to my eyes and scratching my throat. One can only imagine what those brave rescuers endured right at the scene of the terrorist attack.
