Barenforum.org,founded in 1997 by David Bull, is a place where anyone with an interest in the fascinating world of woodblock printmaking is welcome. Its main purpose is to encourage a flow of information among printmakers, to allow them to share their knowledge and experience. Held in "cyberspace" it is easily accessible to all.

It was John Center's idea that the group undertake the portfolio theme "Remembering the Firemen of 9/11". The portfolio traveled across the U.S. and is in the permanent collection of the New York City Public Library.
