Many years ago I was a fine arts student and due to various life events I put away my work. During this process of recreating a life and career for myself I have picked up and begun rebuilding my skills.

I was a 911 operator/dispatcher for 8yrs for both the fire and police departments here in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The events of 9/11 had their own rebound effects here in our city and as a result many of us were effected not only by the tragedy faced by our US neighbours. Several to the point that they could no longer carry on with their careers, of which I was one. After a long struggle I have chosen to take strength, to learn and to take solace in the comfort that this tragedy was not in vain, that I would not let it be the end of a productive life for myself and my family and that it was time to rebuild just as everyone in New York and in the US as a whole.
