When I was asked to create an artwork based on 9/11 for a show that was to travel around the world, what transpired was much more than a portrait of the World Trade Center. I created a series of pastel drawings that were a tribute to all the souls lost on this tragic day. The cloud that formed around these towers seemed to protect and guide many lives to eternal rest...not unlike The Exodus. These drawings may be seen in the permanent collection of The New-York Historical Society, The Museum of The City of New York and The Library of Congress.
