My work involves material conflict- paints colliding,moving flowing to merging color. I turn to the material in an effort to bring the world I experience daily to a form of resolution; politics, love, nature, angst, solitude and catastrophe- the seemingly recurring provocations that propel my motion to a personal aesthetic.
