Hope Renee Rose uses a camera much like an artist uses a paint brush. Each image captures moments and emotions that are forever etched in the canvas of time. Inspired by legendary photographers such as the late James Vanderzee, the late Gordon Parks, Hope believes photography is her opportunity to tell a story through the reproduction of an image. With deep humility, Hope attributes her success to God blessing her to be “in the right place, at the right time, with the right people”. Her credits include staff photojournalist for Next Level Magazine, as well as freelance opportunities with several publications and organizations. Hope is also the founding member of Jazz Imprints, a group of jazz enthusiast photographers.

She grew up in Rochester, Pennsylvania and is the youngest of eight children born to William and Joanne Rose. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hope currently lives in Wilmington, Delaware, but still considers Pittsburgh home.
