Izzy Moskowitz, 58, was born in Jerusalem to a Syrian Israeli mother and Polish Israeli father. His multi-cultural background, as his artwork reflects gave him a unique outlook on life and the world, enabling him to express himself in a myriad of motifs- all revealing a deep sense of emotion and passion.

As a child growing up in New York City, Moskowitz was witness to the actual construction of the World Trade Center, visiting the "tallest buildings in the world" on school trips- marveling at their power and strength.

Izzy was living in Israel in 2001 and was a distant witness to the devastating destruction. He eerily illustrates his close personal connection to the towers and to the event of September 11th in a series of eleven powerful and jarring images.

Even as a young high school student in Brooklyn, New York, Moskowitz's artwork began to turn heads. Moskowitz continued his art education in Israel and the United States.
