    Bookmaking
    2001 – 2009

On the morning of 9/11, papers floated across the East River from the Twin Towers into my Brooklyn neighborhood. These papers had been touched by human hands, struck by a savage force and then blown to another place. I was unable to discard them either physically or emotionally. They became the basis of three handmade books – sacred objects that could help me speak visually about change, impermanence and death.
