13: IL GIORNO DOPO

Cuori spezzati
per una sorella persa
vola sibilando un grido
verso il cristallo
occhi smarriti
guardano l’acciaio.

Fiamme, fuoco, fumo
carte e scarpe di vite
scomparse nella polvere
volti sbiancati,
quarantotto ore
inghiottite dall’asfalto.

Il dodici scompare
in una nuvola acre,
per il mughetto sopravvissuto
è il tredici, il giorno dopo
sulla tomba di ciò che non
sfiderà più le nuvole.

13: the day AFTER

Broken hearts
for a lost sister
fly hissing a shout
towards the Crystal
lost eyes
look at the steel.

Flames, fire, smoke
cards and shoes of lives
disappeared in the dust
faces whitened,
forty-eight hours
swallowed by the asphalt.

The twelve disappears
in a cloud of acrid,
surviving for thrush
is the thirteen, the day after
on the tomb of what is not
challenge more clouds.
