Statement of Work
“Eyes Upon the Skyline” tells my story as a New Yorker on that dreadful day. I lived in Brooklyn and worked in Midtown Manhattan during that time and this is how I experienced that day and the days following from my own eyes. I also wrote it to commemorate the 10-year anniversary. It’s a powerful song and I hope it will be heard by as many people as possible.

Joe Duraes is an independent artist from the lower Hudson Valley, NY. With his warm tenor and electrified acoustic alt-rock groove, Joe weaves tales that explore themes of love, heartache, relationships, and the world we live in. Joe proves that personal, thoughtful and compassionate music can move the world around us.
