    Statement of Work

Bystander 9/11 really started with a mass email I sent out once I had gotten to safety. The World Trade Center was my subway stop, I had spent the previous day working at One Liberty, literally in the shadow of the towers. By the time I had gotten to a computer both towers had fallen and there were endless messages seeing if I were ok. I responded with what had been my story so far. The narrative in that email was expanded and dramatized to become a documentary play. I've seen the play done several times. I find it hard to watch. It's one man's account of what New York was like at that particular historic moment. I dealt with the subject of 9/11 in some of my other work, but this was my first and only documentary.
