KirkE is an American multi -instrumentalist who plays Piano, Guitar, Bass, Steel Guitar, Pedal Steel Guitar, Dobro,Mandolin, composes, arranges, produces, sings and records.
Having been in the music industry since 1967 gives KirkE the credentials to lead any band on stage or in the studio.
Starting at age 10, his mother sought a formal music education at the piano. KirkE also graduated from the prestigious M.I.T. Musicians Institute of Technology, having studied with Carl Schroeder, Joe DiOrio, Steve Travato, Tommy Tedesco, Keith Wyatt, Dan Gilbert, Scott Henderson and Joe Pass among others.
Logging 20+ yearsof experience on Guitar and Pedal Steel Guitar seemed like enough and KirkE found himself on a completely different path.
Recruited by Morgan Stanley a Stock Broker, KirkE found himself at the Morgan Stanley Corporate offices at 2 World Trade Center on Sept 11 2001.
KirkE returned to his musical roots and this is his Story.
