    ~Art is a very important part of my life and helps to define who I am as a person. I love to paint, especially with bright and bold colors, and, I apply that love into each and every painting I create. My art reflects my passion for life.~

    Linda is a retired high school special services teacher. She holds a B.S. in Special Education, a M.Ed. in Learning Disabilities and an Ed.S. in Media and Instructional Technology. Linda is a self taught artist and works in acrylics, pastels, gouache, watercolors, mixed media, photography, and pencil drawings, painting contemporary modern abstracts, landscapes and still lifes. Her art reflects her passion for life with a vibrant use of color.

    Linda is a member of EBSQ, South Cobb Arts Alliance and Douglas County Art Guild and Art Council. She has shown her art in the Douglasville, Austell, Carrollton, Georgia and New York City areas and was commissioned by the Emory Winship Cancer Center in Atlanta, Georgia for a painting. She recently completed a book cover for the author of the book Garotte and was recently awarded the “People’s Choice Award” at the SCAA World of Imagination Juried Art Show. Linda is also co-artist of the mural painting, “Story Corner”, Children’s Library, Lithia Springs Library, Lithia Springs, Georgia.
