Kristen Hotham Carroll was born in Manchester, NH on September 27, 1976. Of her work, Carroll comments, “Painting is often referred to as a two dimensional art form, but my goal is to create a collaborative art experience that transcends dimensions. I have a free style that leaves room for interpretation and creates a subtle ambiguity. It is often the mind of the viewer that takes the finishing leap, completing the creation, and giving life to the art.”
Carroll’s work is well collected internationally in private collections and several corporate collections as well. The majority of her current body of work is on display at the Wet Paint Gallery, Key West, FL, but the remainder of her collection is in galleries within the US and abroad.
The hallmark of Carroll’s current collection is the A-Z figure series, which includes 26 female and male figure pairings, named alphabetically. Each pairing utilizes a unique style. The figure series has been very well received, and is already increasing in value.
Kristen Hotham Carroll’s work is a unique blend of fresh, new ideas and techniques woven into a timeless presentation.
Prior to her career in fine arts, Carroll spent many years as a healthcare executive, operating a consulting firm and lecturing nationally and internationally.
