    Statement of Work

In Japanese culture, the making of one thousand paper cranes grants a wish. With making over one thousand cranes to create the American Flag, I wish that the souls of the victims of September 11, 2001 find peace.
I chose to have the flag face the primary intended viewing location, inside, because it will be unobstructed. Viewed from the outside, it may appear to be different from what one would normally expect. However, the Union is facing forward or clockwise around the Dell.
With the tenth anniversary just passing, I believe that this is a perfect way to memorialize and honor those who have fallen as a result of this tragedy.
