    This song is dedicated to all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. To the first responders who never came home and to those who continue to lose their lives because of their bravery and selflessness that day. To the men and woman of The Armed Forces who serve us each and every day. To those who have fallen defending our great country.

    "Failure Is Not An Option" Is a song for Newtown. Recorded January 3-5, 2013 at Shamrock Studios, Elkridge, Md. Proceeds of song donated to Healing Newtown

    Jim Hiltz wrote Where Were You When My Dad Became a Hero on September 11, 2009. The song speaks to the bravery of all first responders who answered the call on 9/11/2001.

    Jim played in the Joey D Cares Rock Orchestra, Concerts for Charities, based out of Eldersburg Maryland from 2011-2012. The 50 piece rock orchestra has raised funds for Susan G. Komen Foundation, M.S., Juvenile diabetes to name a few.

    Jim spent 9 months planning a concert for The Wounded Warrior Project. The concert raised $10,000.

    Currently recording his first album called Highway 9.
    Mentored by RC Bannon, Nashville, Barbara Cloyd of Bluebird Café, and Benita Hill, Nashville

    The Rhythm Surf Monkeys consist of 18 different musicians that have loaned their talents to the songs that Jim has written

    It was Jim's pleasure to play with so many talented musicians on this project.

    The musicians are Gary Brown on sax, Kyle Reitz on Lead guitar, Taylor Kaffl on drums, Steve Kilgallon on drums, and Joshua Frey and Kyle Reitz on Bass. Rob Fahey appears on vocals as our special guest.

    Jim has written songs for The Wounded Warrior Project, and for Newtown Connecticut. Jim accepted an invitation to Hartford, Conn. Aug 10-12, 2013 to participate in The Power of Peace Family Fest. He will be donating proceeds from the sale of his song, "Failure Is Not An Option" ( A Song For Newtown) to Healing Newtown.
