    Statement of Work

    Beth Cumbo

    Artist statement:

My Art comes from deep within…
Such a vulnerable place, it makes me shy

It is to me, as it is to:
A songwriter, whom composes a tune
A chef, who combines the perfect blend of taste
An Athlete, whom pushes beyond endurance, into “the zone”
An Author, who spills words onto a blank page
A dancer, whom synchronizes with an emotion

My art flows from a combination of:
    Love, inspiration and music too
    Moods, intuition, buried memories
A life long affair with lines
A fierce competition with only myself
Meditation and creation, a labored birth

I make mistakes and forgive myself.

I share with you… a piece of me.

Beth has traveled to Traverse City, MI and to Sedona, AZ to attend well-known artists’ workshops such as Royce Roland and Jeanne Carbonetti. She’s developed her own personal style over the last decade.

The influence of watercolor studies consistently shows in her work with the fluidity, grace of motion and color.
