My career as a professional artist begain in upstate New York. I arrived in the Hudson Valley in 1984 and grew to love the area and its people. I find new inspiration and delight in every passing day, and changing season.

I studied art at Hunter College, the Woodstock School of Art, Ulster Community College, and the Realistist School of Art in Seattle.
I was Vice Chairman of the Hudson River Watercolor Society, and on the board of directors of the Woodstock Artist Association. I was a teacher's assistant and scholarship student at the Woodstock School of Art. I have been a recipient of a Gottlieb Emergency Grant and also two Max's Kansas City Awards. I received a humanitarian award from the Keep A Breast Association in Paris. I have taught watercolor seminars in Colorado at the Boulder Civic Center and also for the Mile High Girl Scout Council.
