    Statement of Work

Rachard was drawn to this tragedy. He was overwhelmed with a sense that he could represent the images that were so prevalent in the news after 9/11. He drew the structures and vehicles in the names of those who perished this day.
These works are worth a close look to feel the magnitude of the tragedy.

    Resume

Rachard Mcintyre has Asperger's syndrome. It’s a form of autism. His teachers always complimented his artistic talents but had no idea that he was truly a savant.

He’s now grown. He has drawn the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and Flight 93 in the names of those who perished. He also drew a NY fire truck in the names of the firefighters who lost their lives responding.

His work has been purchased by many of our local dignitaries and hangs prominently in the New Hanover County DA’s office. He also has a display at our local community college.

He has had some local news coverage and the University of North Carolina Wilmington film class is doing a film on him.
