Statement of Work
Often my poetry is a response to events...the ordinary and daily...and in this case...those that defy traditional explanation. Art in all forms is cathartic. In Memoriam was written in response to seeing the pools, the names for the first time.
The second poem, Benediction, was written four years ago, early morning, thinking back to that beautiful morning 2001, before the world as we knew it, ceased to exist.
