    Statement of Work

    The portrait of Father Mychal Judge, was done shortly after the attacks on the World Trade Center.
    This is one of three portraits which were all donations. It was framed and donated to Squad 1, Brooklyn. Two additional portraits of Father Mychal Judge, both paintings, were donated to Engine 1 Ladder 24, and Sienna College.

    Thomas Sciacca has been a freelance illustrator since 1984. He has produced images for many national publications and publishers. These include the New York Times, GQ, Vogue, Playboy, Random House, Bantam Doubleday Dell, St. Martin's Press, Vintage Press, and Penguin Books.
    Sciacca also created the art for Fermilab's visitor's map in 1996. Sciacca has taught in the Illustration/Design programs of The Ringling School of Art and Design, The Kansas City Art Institute, and Penn Valley Community College. Theatrically, he has designed and painted sets for New Theater Restaurant, The Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Repertory Theater, The Lawrence Art Center, and Paul Mesner Puppets. He is currently represented by Todd Weiner Gallery, in Kansas City, Missouri.
