9/11 was very shocking and a disturbing event!
I worked in downtown NYC and had just passed through the WTC PATH station on that sunny morning! I missed the first plane crashing through the tower by about 15 minutes! It was a very scary day for everyone! It took time to integrate the terrible loss of lives. Art work helped me to deal with my feelings and in the healing that also comes with time! We also made group fabric quilts in the health care setting where I worked ( Lower East Side).
