Currently, I have one piece for the registry, but plan to work on portraits of those I know, personally, who either suffered the loss of a loved one, or struggled emotionally after surviving the events of that day. Per their permission. 

Self-taught contemporary realist painter, though I have lived many lives. I first attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and studied fashion design, only to abandon that and acquire degrees in Psychology and Counselor Education/Educational Psychology; then abandoned THAT by returning to Manhattan the summer of 2001 to work as a designer in the garment district, choosing an apartment in lower Manhattan. Over the past few years, I have returned to art full-time, focusing on contemporary realism. I am related to American Realist, Thomas Eakins (1844-1916), and convinced I got the art gene from him. Sometimes I think there’s a piece of him living in a corner of my soul, as art comes so intuitively and naturally.
