    In 2011, Brian wrote "Are You Listening" to tribute the loss of a loved one, and as a response to the 10th Anniversary of 911. This heartfelt and intimate song sparks a conversation between him and his audience, asking, "Are You Listening?" to the sounds, the silence, the heartbreak, the loss, the aftermath, and the future as we continue to mark this tragic event that changed our world forever.

    Singer-Songwriter Brian Mackey, voices what often goes unsaid with warmth and vulnerability that is reminiscent yet new. He's often been told his sound combines a healthy balance of Pop, Folk, Rock and Americana with an incredibly unique voice.

    Brian's music broke in Germany with his intimate and heartfelt tribute to the 911 Tragedy “Are You Listening,” from his album, "Broken Heartstrings." It was featured by gamer Gronkh with PlayStation 4 game Until Dawn. It became a runaway hit in Germany peaking at #8 on the AC Charts US, Top 25 iTunes, "100 Most Sold" Amazon, and resulted in sold out shows throughout the country.

    Brian's most recent single is, "Saturday Night Sleeping" from his upcoming album, "Good Morning Ireland." The song reflects on the tragic loss of his son Brian, in 2018 to a heroin overdose. He's partnered with the Recording Academy's charity MusiCares, donating 100% of the proceeds through September, National Recovery Month. "Good Morning Ireland" was recorded at Sony Tree Studios in Nashville, and is due to be released this year.

    During Brian's 2020 quarantine, he wrote, recorded and released "Keep the World Alive," written to highlight life changing amid the COVID19 pandemic which garnered close to 3 Million hits on Facebook.

    Brian has toured with Kate Voegele + Tyler Hilton, Ron Pope, American Idol Winner Taylor Hicks, Jon McLaughlin and David Bromberg.
