Central High School is a small Single A public school in rural Southside Virginia. We have caring students that wanted to create some type of memorial for the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Weeks before Septermber 11, 2011, the art department students created a mural featuring scenes from New York, The Pentagon, and Pennsyvannia. Students from all over the school came down and wrote the names of all of the victims in the art work. We realized that the Firemen's names were not on our list so we created a second mural to honor the Firemen that risked their lives that day to serve others. The images are all from the two bulletin boards. E. Newton painted the Fireman tribute for the 2nd board.
