Color and light allow me to explore life through semi abstract images inspired by nature. Emotions and my unconscious rumblings find their way through the language of painting to images that evoke a sense of silence, beauty and meditation.

I have been seriously painting since my MFA in 1975. My work has been exhibited and collected by corporations and individuals nationwide and internationally. I have been exhibited widely in NYC and the metropolitan area with twenty solo shows and over one hundred juried shows. I am also an adjunct professor in the CUNY system and was awarded a CUNY doctoral equivalency in 2005.
Currently, I am a curator of the Loretto Memorial Gallery at St John's University, SI, NY.
