    Statement of Work

While I personally did not suffer a loss my heart was crushed by what happened on 9/11. I heard so many horror stories! I was in New York then and I saw and felt the devastation. We are able to go to the moon, make drones, create virtual reality, constantly inventing new science-fiction-type technology, and we are not able to solve the issues here on earth. Stopping terrorism is very difficult, but even using fire equipment above the 20th story was not possible! /// President George Bush said: “America has been attacked!” I felt that "The world has been attacked!", since there were 85 nationalities in the Twin Towers. In my "911 - One nation indivisible” painting I intended to not miss any of those nationalities, and honor them all. My objective as a heterogeneous artist is to express ideas and feelings through surrealistic - symbolism via subliminal factors by the use of color and typography. In this painting I used bright colors to lift the drama scene up, express for-ever remembrance and hope.
